Steve Swanson Joins Cattaraugus County Bank (CCB) to Support the Commercial Lending Needs of Businesses Across Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, and Erie Counties.

Brings more than 25 years of Banking Experience to His New Role With CCB

Steve Swanson has joined Cattaraugus County Bank (CCB) as Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Team Leader. Swanson will be responsible for growing CCB’s commercial loan portfolio as the leader of the commercial lending team.

In his new role, Swanson will have oversight for approving, originating, documenting, servicing, and monitoring the commercial loan portfolio. In addition, he will oversee compliance, regulatory examinations, and audit requirements and recommendations for CCB’s commercial lending activities.

Prior to joining CCB, Swanson spent three years at Northwest Bank first as Vice President, Commercial Lending, and most recently as Senior Vice President, New York Commercial Market Executive where he led commercial business development and community impact initiatives across Western New York. With CCB, the market area includes a branch network in Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, and Erie counties along with some surrounding communities in Western New York and Northwest Pennsylvania.

Swanson earned his bachelor’s in Quantitative Economic Analysis from the State University at Fredonia. He also earned an associate’s degree in social sciences and economics from Jamestown Community College.

A lifelong Chautauqua County resident, Swanson gives his time to his community by serving on several boards and committees which include the JCC Foundation Board; the County Industrial Development Agency loan committee; the Falconer Library Board (vice president); and Jamestown CMA Church (assistant treasurer). In addition, he is an honorary social member and fire commission member of the Kennedy Volunteer Fire Department Community Foundation; belongs to the Falconer Moose Club; Elks Lodge #2063; Moon Brook Country Club; Browns backers of Jamestown; and is a graduate of the Chautauqua Leadership Network.
