CCB’s Nina Gustafson Honored with America 250 Community Heroes Award
CCB is proud to recognize Nina Gustafson, CCB Assistant Vice President and Area Retail Manager, as a recipient of the America 250 Community Heroes Award, presented by U.S. Rep. Nick Langworthy.
Gustafson was among 49 individuals honored during a recent ceremony at Cassadaga Valley High School recognizing everyday people who make a meaningful difference in their communities. The awards are part of the nationwide celebration of America’s 250th anniversary and recognize individuals who demonstrate the values of service, sacrifice, hard work and a commitment to something greater than themselves.
Recipients were nominated by friends, family members and neighbors for the many ways they serve and strengthen their communities. During the ceremony, Rep. Langworthy recognized the honorees as individuals who “quietly help shape America’s story.”
For those who know Nina, her selection comes as no surprise. In addition to her leadership at CCB, Nina has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to the communities she calls home. She leads by example, giving her time, energy and talents to help others and make a positive impact beyond the walls of the bank. Just a few of the organizations she gives her time to including as the previous president (and current member) of the Falconer Rotary Club, volunteer Personal Finance Management instructor for the Wiltsie Community Church, member of the Grant and Loan Committee for Chautauqua Opportunities for Development, CODI, member of the Village of Falconer NY Forward Grants and Beautification Committees, a member of Falconer Business Association/Chamber of Commerce, a member of the NY Forward grant application committee and also the Local Projects Committee who will assist in choosing the projects for the grant in Falconer, the St. Susan Center, and Habitat for Humanity.
